FPA Coronation Street Party 2023

Dear FPA Family, its count down to our first street party of 2023! We are celebrating the King's Coronation on Sunday 7th May and would love it if you could attend! Like previous years, there'll be lots of fun activities, games, music, fun (hopefully sun!) and lots of laughter. This is always a nice way to get together with our lovely neighbours, meet new ones and just let our hair down.

We have to share some key info with you as follows:

1) The party will take place between 2-7pm on Sunday 7th May 2023

2) We will be closing the road from 12-7pm, but using a main section of the road - halfway down FPA - for the party. Please let us know if you will need to have access and egress from the road on the day. We would encourage you to park your cars away from the main 'party section' please.

3) For the event this year we will be providing BBQ food and will be charging £5 per person (all children under 12 will be fed for free!). Residents are also encouraged to bring a dish if they would like to and one bag of ice each household for drinks please. You will need to keep these in your freezers until they are required on the day.

4) Please share with us your dietary requirements.

5) We will be keeping a very close eye on the weather leading up to the event, prayers for sunshine and heat please - if it rains we will have three gazebos and have our party there!

6) We will have music playing and will ask everyone to select their favourite tunes they would like to hear played at the party!

7) Please let us know if you can volunteer to help prepare things leading up to and on the day (ie putting up bunting).

8) Please note we are not allowed to sell food or drink at the street party. We will provide soft drinks only - if you would like a little drinkie poos we would ask you to fill up that wine/spirits stash at home, so that you can keep your glasses filled on the day.
